What can we say, it’s in their name! Founder Caroline Duell whipped up her first batch of All Good Goop “way back” in the 90’s. Today, All Good is a woman-owned and operated company with headquarters in Morro Bay, California. They’re a Certified B Corp, balancing purpose and profit by considering the impact of their decisions on their employees, customers, suppliers, community, and environment. They’re also Leaping Bunny Certified Cruelty-free (which means no animal testing!) and a 1% For the Planet Member, meaning 1% of their profits go to help global causes.
Most sunscreens contain chemicals that are harmful to coral reefs (and arguably humans too). But All Good is are committed to creating only sunscreen that is reef friendly. They also use certified organic ingredients in their products. They source organically grown herbs, oils, and raw ingredients to ensure their products are free from nasty stuff (harmful pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers) and promote good stuff (diverse ecosystems, healthy soil, clean groundwater). High five to that!
