Friendsheep

Friendsheep was created by Valeria Isaacs, a zero waste entrepreneur, disability advocate, mother, wife, nature lover, and former biologist. Always passionate about ecology and sustainable living, her pursuit of those passions was interrupted when a spinal cord injury left her quadriplegic at age 22. In 2015, she decided to give new meaning to her life by creating Friendsheep.

Today their products help eliminate single-use plastic and toxic chemicals from products like dryer sheets, fabric fresheners, and pet toys by offering reusable zero waste alternatives. They also provide work and purpose to over 100 women and disabled artisans in underprivileged communities of Nepal. All of their products are reusable, plastic-free, cruelty-free, fair trade, and compostable. They’re not only a 1% for the planet member, they also donate ~ 20% of their proceeds to nonprofit organizations.
