I started birch lip balm in January of 2019
What inspired you to begin Birch Lip Balm?
I wanted a lip balm that was made with simple organic ingredients that wasn’t too gritty or greasy, like some natural lip balms can be. I then started working with ingredients till this product came about.
Tell us about yourself! What is your story and what is your role in the company?
I have always been a hard worker, working multiple jobs and long hours. I wanted to start focusing on a passion of mine, and putting the least amount of chemicals on and in my body has always been important to me. After many people telling me how much they enjoy my lip balm, I decided that I would turn it into a company. I am the creator, owner and manufacturer of Birch Lip Balm.

How did you come up with the name Birch?
Honestly, I wanted a name from nature due to the products ingredients but, I wanted it not to be too soft of a word. Birch has a hard crisp sound but it is also a beautiful tree, and one of my favorites.
What sets Birch Lip Balm apart from some of the other well known brands out there?
Birch is made with high quality ingredients. The ingredients are unrefined, cold pressed, raw and non deodorized, leaving their benefits at the fullest. Birch Lip Balm is a smooth long lasting wear lip balm that doesn’t make you feel the need to keep reapplying.

Besides natural ingredients, do you take any other eco-friendly initiatives in your business or personal life?
Birch Lip Balm’s display at retail locations is a hand stamped wooden box that is meant to be refilled to limit waste. In my personal life I try to limit my waste, use glass water bottles, and buy organic and fair trade products.
What is your favorite thing about Birch Lip Balm?
One of my favorite things about Birch Lip Balm is the wide range of customers that it reaches in the different markets
