They replace single-use chemically treated plastic dryer sheets and fabric softeners that contain harmful chemicals, are fully reusable for over 1000 loads, and reduce drying time by up to 40%!

How to Use

Use at least 4 dryer balls for a small load or use 5-6 for a large load. (Or you can use 6 every time if you want – it will shorten your drying time.)

Place your wet laundry into the dryer, along with the dryer balls. Run the dry cycle. That’s all!

You can also stop the dryer 5-10 minutes before the end of its normal cycle. Do not over-dry. Remember that over-drying will produce static cling.

About the Company: Friendsheep

Friendsheep was created by Valeria Isaacs, a zero waste entrepreneur, disability advocate, mother, wife, nature lover, and former biologist. Always passionate about ecology and sustainable living, her pursuit of those passions was interrupted when a spinal cord injury left her quadriplegic at age 22. In 2015, she decided to give new meaning to her life by creating Friendsheep.

Today Friendsheep helps eliminate single-use plastic and toxic chemicals from products like dryer sheets, fabric fresheners, and pet toys by offering reusable zero waste alternatives. They also provide work and purpose to over 100 women and disabled artisans in underprivileged communities of Nepal. All of their products are reusable, plastic-free, cruelty-free, fair trade, and compostable. They’re not only a 1% for the planet member, they also donate ~ 20% of their proceeds to nonprofit organizations.
