One of my favorite things about this recipe is that you can easily alter it to match your tastes or mood. Not feeling coffee? Substitute almond milk. Add more peanut butter for extra protein or throw in some extra banana. Maybe even get a little crazy with some chocolate chunks from the bulk bin. Enjoy the process of making this tasty treat – this is all about you <3

*A few people had asked – the drinking lid on our Mason Jar in the photo above is BPA-free recycled and recyclable plastic by Cuppow. It’s awesome for on-the-go to take your smoothie with you to work or class. If you like the idea, consider supporting us by purchasing one in our store here

Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Coffee Smoothie Ingredients

  • 1 – Banana (Ripe – Fresh or Frozen) The more ripe the banana, the sweeter your smoothie will be
  • 1  Teaspoon Cacao
  • 1  Rounded tablespoon natural peanut butter. We love *Adams Peanut Butter available in glass jars, but any peanut butter that includes only “peanuts” and “salt” as ingredients will work.  We love the BIG glass jars because you can use them for storing food after. Or you can make your own peanut butter at home (Recipe coming soon!)
  • 6 Ounces Coffee, brewed (can be substituted with almond milk)
  • 1 Cup Ice

The Easy Peasy Instructions:

Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until ice is broken down and consistency is smooth. Add or adjust ingredient quantities to meet your tastes. Enjoy!
