How Does a Menstrual Cup Work?

OrganiCup is folded and inserted, creating a light seal to secure the cup in place. Once inserted properly, you won’t feel the soft material and there is no risk of leaking. You can use OrganiCup while sleeping or participating in sports– including swimming!

How to Use A Menstrual Cup

Instructions are included, but here’s a rundown:

• Before Use: Boil OrganiCup for 3-5 minutes. Repeat after each period.
• Fold & Insert: You can use the “punch-down fold” or fold it in a “C” shape. Once it’s inside, let the cup unfold.
• Check It: To ensure the cup is unfolded and secured by a light vacuum, feel around the base for any dents. The cup should feel round, with no noticeable folds or dents. If it isn’t unfolded, try to pinch the bottom and twist it a bit to allow it to unfold.
• Remove and Empty: When it’s time to empty, give the base of the cup a pinch (or insert your index finger alongside it) to release the suction and ease it out. Empty, rinse, and repeat!
