Cleaning

Dishwasher safe! Super easy to clean.

To deep clean the silicone seal (good to do on occasion): You can remove the seal using an object with a rounded edge, like the rounded end of a paper clip. For more instructions check out this video.

End of Life

Wean Green Glass Food Storage Containers are extremely durable and should last many years. If you do need to say goodbye, remove the silicone seal and recycle the plastic and glass separately per your local recycling program. The glass is infinitely recyclable. Please recycle the cardboard packaging.

About the Brand: Wean Green

Wean Green glass food storage containers were designed by Melissa, a Canadian mom and first-grade teacher who was looking for the most eco-friendly way to store her baby food in the safest material possible. Designing additional sizes allowed the whole family to participate and use glass containers that were BPA/BPS and Phthalate-free and dishwasher and microwave-safe. Melissa has since moved to California with her two daughters and their dog Chewy to bring Wean Green to the U.S. Melissa’s enthusiasm is focused on eliminating single-use plastic that is often found in school and work lunches. She and the Wean Green team work with organizations around the world to help advocate for the curtailment of plastic waste and encourage consumers to purchase sustainable products.
