How to Use Toothpaste Tablets
It’s as easy as crunch, brush, rinse, smile!
Adults and children 6 years of age and older; Chew one tablet briefly and brush your teeth thoroughly, preferably after each meal or at least twice a day, or as directed by a dentist or doctor. Do not swallow the tablet.
Ingredients and Their Purpose
Active Ingredients:
Sodium Fluoride .62 mg (.28 mg fluoride ion) – anti-cavity
Inactive Ingredients:
Microcrystalline cellulose – polishes teeth and helps prevent plaque from forming.
Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) – adjusts the pH and serves as a gentle polishing agent.
Silica (silica) – serves as a cleaning agent and helps remove soft plaque.
Amisoft (sodium lauroyl glutamate) – a surfactant that combines the dissolved proteins and fats with water to flush them out while rinsing.
Magnesium stearate – a plant-based ingredient that helps bind the other ingredients into tablet form.
Natural mint flavor (from mentha arvensis leaf oil and menthol) – provides a fresh, cool taste in the mint-flavored tooth tabs.
Xanthan gum is – natural thickener and gelling agent that gives our tooth tabs their consistency and texture.
Stevia – a plant that provides a natural touch of sweetness.
Citric acid – regulates the pH.

Unpaste Tooth Tabs come in fully compostable packaging printed with soy inks. Certified by TUV OK Compost, it’s certified for industrial compost and has been proven to degrade 90% after a maximum of 90 days.
Sustainability

Unpaste uses waterless, carbon-neutral manufacturing and doesn’t add any water to the tooth tabs.

It’s hard to find fluoride options when it comes to eco-friendly toothpastes and this did not disappoint! I put them in a cute repurposed jar in my medicine cabinet so they’re aesthetically pleasing. My teeth feel cleaner than when I use traditional paste. I’m sure they’ll be great for travel too. I plan on ordering more.

I absolutely love these toothpaste tabs and so do my teeth! They work well and I am happy to get rid of the plastic waste that comes with traditional toothpaste tubes. They do not get as foamy as standard toothpaste but my teeth still get a great clean with them. I was having a hard time finding toothpaste tabs with fluoride in them so I emailed Eco Girl and asked if they would consider stocking something. They emailed back right away telling me that they would be researching options and several weeks later they had these Unpaste tabs in stock! It was great to not only see how responsive they were to my request but also that they were taking time to carefully research a product before stocking it. I order these toothpaste tabs regularly and they have been perfect for daily use as well as travel (especially air travel)!
